Please help!!! I Got a new cutter from US Cutter and my frustration with SCAL is crazy. So, I purchased Make the Cut. Like it a lot more. Well finally got the cutter hooked up, 3 weeks later, had designs ready in MTC and it can't find the cutter. No problem. I go to the drivers for cutters and download mine not thinking. I click on it...its for Windows. I have a Mac. So NOW...I've paid $500 for a cutter with software I dislike and $60 for software I like but can't use. So then, I send my design as an svg to SCAL. It does fine. It cuts it. Yay! First cut. Then I trace a monogram I had done in SIL and then cut it...the lines are all jagged. This happens on every trace I do in SCAL. I'm so frustrated and so behind on orders now I ordered another Cameo 2 to be overnighted. Problem is...this is a beautiful nice plotter. I love it!!! I actually like MTC. Just am disgusted with all the software issues. Why does SIL have to be so nice and easy and NOT compatible with other cutters??? And why would MTC be compatible with Mac but NOT for a US Cutter??? Ugh!!! Any advice is greatly appreciated before I ship this big plotter/cutter back???? I REALLY want it!! I'm also familiar with Corel but I just can't pay that much for it as well.

You could also email it to ur self..I'm Diana in New Mexico, SAHM to 8My blog: http://scrappinbutterfly13.blogspot.com/ - When you say 'download' do you mean from the MTC site or actually copying your current version that is installed to an external hard drive? Do not download the current 3.2.1 from the website as that version does not have the driver for the Cricut. Only the version of 3.2.1 before March 16, has the Cricut plug in.
If you current version worked with the Cricut, then you need to copy that one (try to find the original one that you downloaded - probably in your download folder on your computer. - Thank you all. I will have to go into my computer and save it from there.

Do a big search for it since we cannot share it or the plugin. If you find it, back it up. We have been preaching this for the last 4+ months.
